What does Gauss mean?

We have received this question recently as the magnets found in our bracelets are all 3000 Gauss or sometimes abbreviated (confusingly) to 3000G. But what does this mean?

Gauss is the unit in which magnetism is measured in terms of mass, length and time- self-titled after the creator of it's representation, Carl Friedrich Gauss. In short- when we mention that the magnets in our bracelets are 3000 Gauss, this means how powerful they are.

The Gauss strength of 3000 is also particularly strong. Many magnetic bracelets are around 1000-2000 gauss, ours are stronger for a better quality.
